I complete this review by expressing my gratitude to Alberto Martinez Perez for the time, effort and commitment to developing this product in addition to his kind generosity in offering this utility as freeware. There is no doubt that this is a quality product and have no hesitation recommending it to other users. There is the, additional, ability to compile your own font categories to increase the ease of accessibility. The preview pane is of sufficiently generous dimension to review the full range of characters with or without the ANSI characters. This product is extremely intuitive and has comprehensive features without becoming over complicated. Hope this helps.Looking for quick and easy access to review the numerous fonts on my PC, I downloaded AMP Font Viewer v3.80 and was not disappointed with the result. It is handy though to have tags (like a sub-set) for “printing” or “script” within the handwriting set. I’ve played around a bit with the tags feature and I don’t like it much. As you add new fonts to your system, you’ll want to add them to a set right away. When your uncategorized set is totally empty, you can delete the set name by right clicking on it. Puede instalar y desinstalar fuentes, y organizarlas en categorías. As you add a font into a set, right click and remove it from the “uncat” set. Este programa es un sencillo pero potente gestor de fuentes, que permite obtener una vista rápida tanto de fuentes instaladas como no instaladas. You can control+click to select multiple fonts or just go one by one. Work out of the “uncat” folder to move them to the proper category. Do a control+A to select all of them and add them to the “**uncategorized folder” by either dragging them into the set or right click and choose “add to set” and choose. It will take your system a minute or so to scan through and display all your fonts. Then, click the word “installed” which is the first one on the left panel under “LIBRARY’ and has the little Windows symbol next to it. To do that, right click on the left hand panel of the page and click “add set” as many times as you have categories. This way, you’ll know which ones haven’t been yet. Since you’re probably going to do this project in multiple steps, 1st set you should make is “**UNcategorized”. Hi Kelly–I don’t know if you figured it out already, but you create new sets (ex: handwriting, dingbats, kids) and add the fonts to them. Have you used one of these tools before? Which is your favorite and why? The primary function of these software utilities is the creation of collections or groups for ease of batch activation/de-activation. The best way to address this challenge is selective activation of fonts via a font management tool. Users with a ton of extra RAM (4GB or more) may not experience any lags, but it can certainly affect the average scrapbooker. Unfortunately very large font libraries can cause programs like Photoshop Elements to slow down, particularly upon loading. Hybrid and digital scrapbookers tend to readily acquire new fonts for stylish and beautiful journaling.
